當Cate Blanchett 和眾演員手牽手在台上出現第二次謝幕時，正在熱烈鼓掌的觀眾們，情不自禁的站起來歡呼。
多久沒看舞台劇了，來到倫敦的Barbican Centre看了這部名為‘Big and Small’的舞台劇，由Cate Blanchett飾演一個叫Lotte的女人，簡介說：'Lotte is in constant search for human connection. She is rejected by her husband, unrecognised by old friends and unfamiliar with her family. Sometimes Lotte is too big for her surroundings and sometimes too small to be noticed within them' .
如果跟電影比較，我會說我對舞台劇更有feel。以前在墨爾本常常拿著學生證去買半價票看舞台劇。平時在電影只留意到演員大特寫的臉部表情，在舞台上，卻可以欣賞演員當下的流動的身體語言，聲音和空間的運用，還有演員和演員之間的互動，啊，還有流暢的換場，simple but powerful 的場景設計，回歸到舞台劇最基本的元素－演員之間的張力。
這個長達幾乎三小時的舞台劇，I enjoy every minutes of it。朋友問我覺得Cate Blanchett的演出如何，我心裡立刻跳出這個字：amazing
看著演員們漸漸從舞台消失，我也感到自己的胸口正在發熱。
